As a Master Taxidermist, Ron Schaefer is often hired by museums. Below you will see photographs of some of the work Ron Schaefer is currently working on with a Private Museum that is located in Texas.

Ron was hired from the beginning concept to help design the entire museum environment that includes the various lifesize habitats, wall murals, lighting, and scale models. And probably the most enjoyable part for museum visitors will be to view all of Ron Schaefer's taxidermy for all the animals in the museum including over 80 life-size animals.

The museum, when completed will house over 15,000 square feet of a variety of animals and their habitats. Ron is currently working on the taxidermy and will eventually design and build their habitats. Some of the animal habitats will include all the animals found on the different continents, such as North America, Europe, Arctic, and Africa. As well as specialty habitats like Mountain Sheep of the World.

This particular museum project started approximately two years ago and is expected to be completed in a few years. We will show Ron Schaefer's progress with this project on this page as time goes on.
